An essay writing contest and drawing competition was organized on 4th November as part of the Vigilance Awareness Week 2022 was jointly observed by the Pharmacy College Club and Red Ribbon Club
The theme of this year's celebration is '"Corruption-free India for a Developed Nation"' and the contest was held at GHG Khalsa College of Pharmacy Gurusar Sadhar as part of the celebration.
Principal Dr. Satvinder Kaur explained the concept of vigilance to the students and underlined its importance in the development of the nation.
The objective of the programme was to encourage the stakeholders to support the initiatives in fighting and preventing corruption besides raising public awareness on the perils of corruption and spreading awareness among students on establishing a "corruption-free" India.
In the essay writing contest, Harmanpreet Kaur (B. Pharmacy 1 st semester) won the first prize, Jaismeen Kaur (B. Pharmacy 5 th semester) won the second prize and Bawanpreet Kaur ((B. Pharmacy 5 th semester) won the third prize.
